Reflecting on Genesis 1:31

God saw all that he had made, and it was very good.” (Genesis 1:31) This verse reminds us that God took pleasure in His creation; it was made with intention, care, and purpose. Each detail of our world, from the tallest mountain to the smallest insect, reflects God's glory and creativity. As His children, we are tasked with honoring this creation—not just by admiring its beauty but by actively protecting and nurturing it.

What Does Stewardship Look Like Today?

Stewardship isn’t just about reducing waste or recycling—it's a heart posture that recognizes the Earth as a gift from God. Today, stewardship can be seen in small actions like picking up litter, reducing our carbon footprint, or supporting sustainable brands that care for creation. Every act of care is a form of worship, a way of saying thank you to God for His beautiful gift.

A Prayer for the Planet

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the incredible world You’ve created. Help us to see the Earth as You do—with wonder, gratitude, and a desire to protect it. Guide us to be better stewards of Your creation, making choices that honor You and preserve this gift for future generations. Amen.

Reflect:

As you go about your week, take a moment to appreciate the world around you and consider how you can actively participate in its care. Stewardship starts with each of us—let’s make a difference together!
